This is just a guitar app. you can select left hand chord by clicking on L.H. menu or select right hand fingering by clicking on R.H menu. on main screen, you can set play speed, change chords and fingering that you picked from L.H. and R.H.
click the round buttons on top, it will play that chord, if you want to change fingering, just select the number and letter on vertical segment controller on the left. you probably can sing a song while play with it.
Just a quick one today. Mobile Folk Guitar is a new app which promises Finger-Picking Guitar playing. It still needs considerable work to really bring up to be a useable App, but the GUI idea isn't bad... although warning: you will get a full screen Ad to try to induce you to download the Google App at each launch.
Use the L.H. button to select 8 chords from a short list of options ... about 20 common chords. Use the R.H. to pick 4 finger-picking patterns from another list. On the Main GUI adjust the Speed slider and tap a chord-pad. Walah! The chord is picked before your ears... A column of buttons labelled 1-4 lets you choose from the picking patterns you er... picked (sorry ) ... plus an option for S ( strum ? ) and A ( ?) . If you want to strum the chord alone, tapping the chord diagram will do the trick.
The sound is an OK acoustic ... not enough sustain ( this problem is epidemic ! ). The finger picking doesn't loop which makes timing hard. There's nowhere near enough chords in the selection list. But Free only gets you so far. I hope the developer does a huge update and slaps .99c on there tag. Otherwise this is a curiosity.
