• And lots more!
One of my favorite amp sims just got huge update! As usual it's a Universal app so you only have to buy it once for all your mobile devices. I love its layout and everything is there in one place. Sound is great, perhaps not as tweakable as other options but as I've mentioned before these days I prefer fewer options in favor of getting on with things!
The App itself is a free download if you already have Tonestack V1 bought and paid for. Otherwise there is the $4.99 entry fee which gives you a few amps and FX to play with. Sorry I can't remember which ones but I don't think the included package has changed with this release. Then it's off to the store and you can start perusing the new offerings. There's a lot in there for those-of-fewer-notes, with many new Bass Heads, Cabinets and some fancy looking effects. For the six stringers there's new amps and cabs the most significant to me being the "Jazz 40", a Roland JC 120/40 model. Here it is below in my Flock Of Seagulls configuration from days of yore....
I haven't even played it yet ... so more later.
The "IN STUDIO" 8 Track recorder now has two insert FX sends to add any of your available FX to and it supports IAA .. if that's a thing. Your milage will vary with different apps from great to crash. Not Yonac's fault it's just iOS is being asked to do a lot here and inter-app communication isn't all its cracked up to be!
I already had the Motherload V1 from one of Yonac's insane sales and the upgrade to the V2 Motherload is currently only $9.99. Don't hesitate. For new users the Motherload is listed at $49.99 but its actually $39.99 in the Store for a limited time and I think if you are starting from scratch that's a good deal. However there are bundles for less aimed at niche players who want to focus on Metal, Blues, Clean, Rock and so on. And if you want to purchase individual components for a couple of bucks that's possible too ... though honestly it will add up quickly because you know as well as I do that you want it ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
