This update includes 64-bit support, better sounding chords with no noise and various bug fixes and improvements. This update also includes a new updated splash screen and icon.
A quick update by developer Matthew Raferty which brings a new Icon and more importantly replaces Electronic Guitar's sound samples. I critisised this aspect of the app a few posts ago ... the sound really was unusable. Now you'll find much smoother chords which are mostly in tune! However overall playability is still an issue since each pad simply triggers a downward strummed chord which I have to report doesn't decay into silence ... it just chops off! No-no-no...
I still say the pallete of chords is a nice way to bounce around a lot of harmony possibilities and I actually came up with a really nice sequence I don't think I would have discovered on a real instrument. On an iPad there would be plenty of room for many other chord choices ( especially in landscape orentation ... theres even space for a few more on the iPhone now the drum pads have vanished.
However there is still a long way to go for this to be a serious tool. But a major improvement from the developer in just a few days is to be applauded!
